Cindy comes from Utopia which is home to some of the most sought-after Indigenous artists. Her mother Grace Morton Pwerle Ngale is a well-known artist other family members include Gloria Petyarre and Kathleen Petyarre.
 
Gracie has passed down the dreaming’s to her Cindy to preserve and in time she will pass them onto her children.
 
The Bush Plum in an important plant to the Anmatyerre people as a food source and for medicinal properties. This painting pays respect to this important plant.
