Mima Tjuta is the Dream time story.  A Dreamtime story is a traditional Aboriginal Australian narrative that explains the creation of the world and its features. It often involves ancestral beings, animals, and natural elements, conveying cultural beliefs, values, and lessons through symbolic storytelling. This painting is an aerial depiction of that story whereby Julie uses traditional iconography to depict her dreaming.

Julie spends her time between Papunya and other communities including Alice Springs where her other family members reside.
