Collection: MARY DIXON NUNGARRAYI

Mary was born near the area of Bore Creek, East of Papunya. In her early years she moved to Yamunturrngu (Mount Liebig) when the settlement was established.

She commenced painting in the mid-1980s for Papunya Tula Artists painting alongside some of the most influential artists to emerge from this region.

Mary was married and had children to Colin Dixon Tjapanangka who is also an influential artist.

Mary’s artwork has been exhibited Nationally in numerous State and private galleries.
