Delores was born in Ltyentye Apurte (Santa Teresa), a community located 80 kilometers southeast of Alice Springs. This community is well-known for producing renowned artists whose works are highly sought after by collectors around the globe.

In her art, Delores captures the essence of bush tucker and women's ceremonies, skillfully using iconography to depict the dreaming's that have been passed down to her. Her artwork beautifully reflects the artistic heritage of the region, as she expertly weaves together traditional stories with contemporary elements, creating intricate and captivating pieces.

This painting was created in 2005 and is a beautiful example of her earlier paintings. She has not been creating many artworks for many years and has recently been painting Sturt Desert Pea which has been very popular.

This painting can be hung vertically or horizontally.

This painting was purchased directly from Delores and a gallery certificate of authenticity will be provided with the sale.
