Kitty lives in the Mutitjulu Community in Uluru which is located the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.  They are Pitjantjatjara and Yangkunytjatjara people (the main languages spoken) and collectively they call themselves Anangu people.
 
She was one of the first women to paint in the late 80s as a young woman, She paints the stories of  her Country including the formation of Uluru, Bush tucker, women collecting water  at the waterhole and men at campsite and soakage’s (water source). She is also an accomplished wood carver.
 
Kitty is also a bush tracker and has been asked by the police to help them with various investigations including the Azaria Chamberlin case.
 
This painting was purchased directly from Kitty and a gallery certificate of authenticity will be provided with the sale.
