Nancy identifies as a Napangardi, one of several skin names bestowed upon Indigenous individuals at birth. This particular skin name plays a vital role in shaping their marital options, the ancestral dreamtime narratives entrusted to them, and their duties within the community and land they belong to.

Her mother is artist Molly Presley Dancer and her Aunty the famous artist Audrey Napanangka.

Nancy paints in the traditional dot style using iconography to depict her dreaming’s.

This painting is the story of Women digging for water (Nappa) along the walking tracks after the wet season.

Nancy’s artwork has been exhibited nationally and internationally.

This painting was purchased directly from Nancy and a gallery certificate of authenticity will be provided with the sale.
