In 1996 She was part of a group of high-ranking women from Kintore and Kiwirrkura who began painting for Papunya Tula Artists.

Ningura used heavy layers of acrylic paint which is strong and rich in linear design compositions. Ningura tells the stories of her ancestors of her land and its importance to her people as well as women’s ceremony.

She is one of the eight Indigenous Australian Artists who were chosen to paint the walls, floor, and ceiling of Europe’s most important museum – Musee Du Quai Branly in Paris. Her works are immortalized on the ceiling of the museum.

Her painting was featured on an Australian Stamp in 2002. In January 2007, Ningura Napurrula was included in the list of 50 most collectable artists judged by the Australian Art Collector.

Her paintings can bee seen in numerous galleries around Australia and the world.

This painting was purchased directly from Ningura, and a gallery certificate of authenticity will be provided with the sale.
