Patricia is from Utopia, a remote region of roughly 5,000 square kilometres north-east of Alice Springs, home to a cluster of small Indigenous communities and renowned worldwide as a hub of contemporary Aboriginal art. She paints the dreamings passed down through her family relating to bush medicine and bush tucker- grass seeds, berries, fruits and the roots of various plants - as well as the Awelye, the body paint designs worn by women during ceremony.

Patricia continues to paint today, and her work has developed and matured over the years she has been with us. Her earliest pieces, simple and joyful, capture the same warmth and openness she carries in person and over time her dot work and compositions have grown more intricate as she's built her practice. She is a genuinely versatile artist, equally at home painting fine bush medicine seed work as bold Awelye body paint designs.

All artworks were purchased directly from Patricia, and each comes with a gallery Certificate of Authenticity.
