Vicky is the granddaughter of the Internationally renowned artist Walangkura Napanangka Her famous grandmother was influential in Vicky’s beginnings as an artist. Sadly, Walangkura passed away in 2014.

Vicky paints the stories passed down to her by her family. These stories are of her country, the journeys they took and the various land formations they passed and the sacred sites where they perform their ceremonies.

Although this particular painting is untitled, we can see by the iconography that Vicky’s painting tells an intricate story.

This painting was purchased directly from Vicky and a gallery certificate of authenticity will be provided with the sale.

Authenticity

Every artwork is an original painting by the artist named - never a print or reproduction. Each work is researched and documented before listing, and its provenance is recorded and supplied with the sale.
